On Sunday, March 20, 2022 McIntyre Ski Area held the Grip N Rip rail jam with 128 athletes as young as 6 years. Jake Fornier brought home the $1,001 best overall unprecedented stoke with a Wildcat off the pole jam centerpiece.

In the categories 18+ Snowboarders, 1st place Jake Orenson, 2nd Trevor Proux, 3rd Joey Leon.

18+ Ski, 1st Jackson Dovemus, 2nd Connor Star, 3rd Nicholas Bedi,

Teen Snowboarders, 1st Hunter Keim, 2nd Noah Davisnapoles, 3rd Cody Sullivan.

Teens Ski, 1st place Brent Clark, 2nd Eathan Sinclare, 3rd Quinn Sullivan.

Groms Snowboard, 1st Haven Kennedy, 2nd Hudson Ferraro, 3rd Hendrix Ferraro.

Groms Ski, 1st Jason Grant, 2nd Luke Krandz, 3rd Seneca Peterson.

Females’ 1st Cierra Valley, 2nd Bria Stevens, 3rd Bella Barnes.

Tow Pro Lifts set up their portable rope to support riders in the park during the event which proved incredibly helpful as riders sessioned with ease of access to the Mac Pac Terrain Park. Snowboard Olympian, Scotty Lago, demoed Lago Snowboard on the hill during the event and fans stopped by his tent to take photos and talk about his Olympic experience. Riders enjoyed Lago’s board of choice the “Double Barrel” an extremely light, twin tip board with a ton of snap and extremely tough.
